I will be in Barcelona all August; is there any nice local event/fest/celebration during that time ?(give a different answer) .
last year in August I took part in the festival called Festa Major de Gracia which was really an example of what was once a true Festival in Spain. There is plenty of music, dancing, food, decorations and fire works, giants and castles all around the streets and squares. See this site www.festamajordegracia.org
