I must say you're lucky to be in Barcelona at that particular time because on September, 11th the citizens celebrate the Festa Nacional de Catalunya. People wear very colorful traditional costumes, hang Spanish flags at balconies and dance on the streets. It' really a great thing to watch them, but it's even better to join them. Children enjoy the whole atmosphere a lot.
