Las Ramblas in Barcelona is a famous street. Is it a safe one ?(give a different answer) .
In my opinion, Las Ramblas, linking the Placa Catalunya to the port area, is not the best area to feel the pulse of Barcelona.
It's a tourist trap and the prices are 3 times higher than the usual. Pickpockets tend to work round the edge of crowds , watching street performances. The Police is always there, but be careful.
