When I stopped in Cordoba for a few hours before continuing my travel to Seville, I took some food from El Picanton fast food. It's situated on C. Fernandes Ruano Street. They sell enormous subs (dried meat cured with salt and vinegar called tapa, put in a baguette with lettuce, tomato and home-made salsa). The cheapest one is 1 euro; larger subs are 3 euros. Beer is 1 euro. Remember to have some cash on you, because they don't accept credit cards.
