Who told you that was damn right! I go to futbol (= soccer) matches almost every Saturday and Sunday. They are held from the beginning of September 'till the end of June. The good thing is that one or two local teams play at home, so you can say you assist at a real show. For example, my favorites - Real Madrid - play at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu (it's situated on Cochina Espina Avenue no.1). Another team is Atletico de Madrid. They usually play at Estadio Vicente Calderon (Po. de la Virgen del Puerto no. 67).
