Don't forget to visit the Palacio Real when you get to Madrid

Well, I visited it and I can say it's the most beautiful palace I ever set foot in. The interior designs at this palace are something you won't see any place else. The throne room is the most interesting. There are also a few Goya paintings on the walls. The palace is on Calle Bailen and admission is 9 Euros. Don't expect to meet the king though ;-)
