general in response to adonis's question:
I heard about a monastery in Madrid that tourists flock to visit ... which one is it?(give a different answer) .
I'm not sure I understand the question, nut from what I know the most visited monastery in Madrid is the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales. It was founded in 1559 by Juana de Austria, the daughter of the King of Spain. Ever since it has received numerous donations and has become the richest monastery in Spain. There are very interesting tapestries by Rubens. It's on Plaza de las Descalzas
