You're probably talking about the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza This is the only museum located just opposite the Prado that I know of. I visited myself and I must say I was impressed by the numerous art collections. It's the kind of museum you might wanna visit if you wanna learn more about art and it's history. Admission to this museum is just 4 Euros
