My favorite place for snacks or breakfast is Cafe Con Libros. They have very tasty milkshakes, tea and coffee which cost between 1.30-2.50 euros. You should have a breakfast there sometime, they prepare very good sandwiches for 1.50-3 euros. The cafe is located on Plaza de la Merced no. 19 and is open between 4pm-1am on Mondays and from 11am to 1 am from Tuesday to Sunday.
