Tourists gravitate around the central square of Salamanca. What happens there?(give a different answer) .
It's a torrent of students crisscrossing the square, as they come from the university built here in 1218 by Alfonso IX, once among the best universities in Europe. There's around 15.000 students, always filling the cafes that triming the plaza's arcades. I wonder if anybody's studying anylonger. Many of them turn temporary to minstrels and sing serenades to visitors. The square also hosts a 16th century cathedral.
