You can try Pension La Perla, it's on C. Loyola 10, the street directly in front of the cathedral (Catedral del Buen Pastor), very conveniently located. The rooms here are clean, comfortable, with hardwood floors, private baths and balconies. I stayed there in april last year and I paid 25 euros for a single room, but in summer months the price is 35 euros. Take a look at this: www.pensionlaperla.com
