Flamenco dancing in Seville: La Taberna

Posted 1 year ago by avatar abdul in response to olive's question: Where can I watch a traditional Flamenco show in Seville? (give a different answer) .

Did you go to "tabernas" (=a room/bar opening off from the street)? You don't need to pay any ticket. You can sometimes see professional dancers exercising there, but most of the time there are local people who dance Flamenco and Sevillanas (Sevillian dances). When I visited Seville an year ago, I went to La Taberna (Bar de Copas de Sevilla Triana la Taberna Marinera), located on Calle Duarte nº3 and, at that time, there were people dancing Flamenco. You can find out more about them by visiting www.la-taberna.es.vg. Hope I've been of help!
